DA Bank ( Dearness Allownce As per IBA circular)  for workmen and officer Employees in banks for the month of May, June and July 2020 has been decided.

On the basis of CPI data All india average CPI (consumer price index) for the months of January to March 2020 (base 1960=100).

Total 761 slabs DA on basic and special allowances for the bank staff. The last quarterly payment of DA was at 759 Slabs.

Hence there is an increase in DA slabs of 2 slabs. (DA increase 0.2%)


That Means for the period of May 2020 to July 2020, Bank staff is eligible for 76.1% DA which means 2 slabs (0.2%) increase over the previous quarter.

DA for bank Employees May 2020 to July 2020


The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to staff and officers for the months of May, June and July 2020 shall be 76.1 % of ‘Basic pay’.

While arriving at dearness allowance payable, decimals from third place may please be ignored.

Direct and Indirect Speech With Examples

DIRECT AND INDIRECT SPEECH


Direct Speech-


The actual words of the speaker are called Direct speech. how to talk about what someone said ? Direct speech repeats, or quotes, the exact words spoken. place the words spoken between quotation marks (" ") and there is no change in these words.

Example: -

1.Rahul said to sachin, "I don’t like your cricket today.”

2.Bheem said to Indumati, “I can help your father.”

There are two parts of Direct Speech:-

  • Reported verb

  • Reported speech


Changing while converting Direct into Indirect Speech:-

  • Said to

  • Conjunction

  • Pronoun

  • Tenses

  • Time Expressing Words


Note:- Before changing, we identify the sentence of reported speech.

Types of Sentences

  • Assertive sentences : convey message

  • Interrogative sentences: asking questions

  • Imperative sentences: to order, give commands, etc.


Indirect speech


Reported or indirect speech is usually used to talk about the past, so we normally change the tense of the words spoken. When we want to report what someone said without speech marks (Inverted commas) and without necessarily using exactly the same words.

Example:

  1. Dev told Anjali that he would never forgot her because she had broken his heart.

  2. Nobita told Shizuka that he did not like her.

  • Reported Speech: The second part of the sentence, which is closed in inverted commas or quotation marks, is called reported speech.
